In Islamabad, Algerian Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Ramani held talks with Mr. Jamil Ahmed Qureshi, Secretary General of the Special Council for Investment Facilitation, chaired by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and outlined the significant potential of the Algerian economy and the wide range of opportunities for partnership and investment. The session emphasised how Pakistan Algeria investment links can be developed to unlock mutual benefits for businesses and investors in both countries.

Mr. Qureshi praised the strength and diversity of Algeria’s economy, noting its position as the third largest in Africa, and welcomed the Ambassador’s proposal to deepen cooperation between the Special Council for Investment Facilitation and the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion. Both sides agreed that closer institutional collaboration will help strengthen bilateral ties and facilitate smoother investment flows.
