Pakistan will host the 10th ECO Ministerial Meeting to advance disaster risk reduction and climate resilience on 21–22 January 2026.

The National Disaster Management Authority will host the 10th ECO Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction on 21–22 January 2026 at NDMA Headquarters, Islamabad, marking the first time Pakistan has welcomed this regional forum. The ECO Ministerial Meeting brings a high-level platform to the capital where ministers and senior officials from ECO Member States will convene to discuss shared challenges.

Delegates at the ECO Ministerial Meeting will aim to strengthen regional cooperation, enhance climate resilience and promote innovation in disaster risk management. Discussions are set to emphasise improvements to early warning systems and coordinated approaches to transboundary risk preparedness that affect the wider ECO region.
