**Pakistan Finalizes Preparations to Launch Lahore-Moscow Freight Train**

Pakistan is in the final stages of preparations to launch a direct freight train service connecting Lahore to Moscow, according to diplomatic sources. The new railway route, which will link the two countries by land for the first time, is expected to commence operations in August.

The inaugural ceremony is anticipated to feature high-level participation from all relevant stakeholders, including the Russian Consul General. The freight train will travel from Lahore, passing through Taftan in Pakistan and then traversing Iran, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan before reaching its final destination in Russia.

This initiative aims to boost trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Russia by providing a more efficient and cost-effective transportation link. The project is also expected to enhance regional connectivity, create new opportunities for exporters, and strengthen diplomatic ties between Pakistan and its partner countries along the route.
