Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, visited the Luban TVET Exhibition Hall in Tianjin, China, to highlight the importance of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in fostering sustainable development and strengthening ties between Pakistan and China.
During the visit, Mr. Dar emphasized the vital role of TVET cooperation in developing human capital and advancing both countries’ economic prospects. He met with seven Pakistani students from TEVTA-Punjab, who are currently participating in a two-year diploma program focused on advanced auto production line management and robotics. This training is part of an ongoing collaboration between TEVTA-Punjab and Tianjin Modern Vocational Technology College.
The Luban Workshop, first established in Lahore in 2018, aims to provide Pakistani youth with access to world-class technical skills and knowledge. This initiative seeks to empower young people in Pakistan and prepare them for emerging opportunities in modern industries, reinforcing the broader vision of mutual development between Pakistan and China.
