MSO Rawalpindi said Pakistan’s future is linked to talented, upright and patriotic youth.

RAWALPINDI: Muslim Students Organisation (MSO) Nazim Abu Huraira, in his message on the occasion of September 6, Defence Day of Pakistan, said the day reminds the nation of the everlasting sacrifices of the martyrs and ghazis who laid down their lives for the defence of the homeland.

In a statement issued to the media, Abu Huraira said September 6 is a bright chapter in Pakistan’s national history, when the Pakistani nation and the armed forces demonstrated unity, resolve and courage while performing the duty of defending the country.

He said the sacrifices of the martyrs and ghazis are a beacon of guidance for the entire nation. He added that it is the need of the hour to acquaint the young generation, especially students, with the sacrifices of national heroes and the history of the country.

Abu Huraira said that for Pakistan’s development, stability and prosperity, the youth must adopt education, character, discipline and national unity as their guiding principles.

He further said Pakistan’s future is linked to talented, upright and patriotic youth. MSO Pakistan, he added, will continue to play its role in promoting patriotism, positive thinking, educational awareness and a sense of national responsibility among young people.

The MSO Rawalpindi district Nazim said that on Defence Day, the organisation pays tribute to the martyrs and salutes the ghazis. He reaffirmed the resolve that every Pakistani would play a positive role for the security, sovereignty and stability of Pakistan.
