PHEC Meeting Highlights Academic Collaboration Initiatives

Prof. Dr. Nighat Naheed Zafar, Commission Member of the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) and Principal of Government Graduate College for Women, Gulberg, Lahore, led a delegation to the Punjab Higher Education Commission where she held a meeting with Chairperson Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan. The discussions centered on advancing academic collaboration, enhancing educational quality, and addressing prominent challenges faced by the higher education sector.

Accompanied by Prof. Dr. Shagufta Gulraiz, Vice Principal, and Prof. Dr. Rozina Chaudhary, Head of Physics, the delegation engaged in a comprehensive exchange of ideas with the PHEC leadership. Emphasis was placed on fostering stronger partnerships among academic institutions to boost research initiatives and share best practices.

The meeting also addressed strategies for promoting quality education, including curriculum development, faculty training, and adopting innovative teaching methodologies. Additionally, both sides discussed key issues impacting higher education, such as resource allocation, infrastructure development, and the integration of technology in classrooms.
