Dr Sonia Saleem, Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, led a focused meeting with Rana Mashhood Ahmed, Chairman PMYP, to review ongoing AI efforts and their role in empowering youth and women across Pakistan. The discussion emphasised scaling practical initiatives under the PMYP AI agenda to create meaningful pathways into the tech sector for young people and female professionals.
Participants including Ammara Aftab, Faraz Hussain Buriro, Hafsa Faheem (ProAI Global), Mahreen (AuratTech) and Alia (SET) highlighted collaborative opportunities between government-led programs and technology partners. Attendees explored how targeted training, mentorship and platform access can strengthen women’s participation in the AI ecosystem while preparing youth for digital economy roles.
The meeting underlined a shared commitment to innovation, with practical steps discussed to integrate PMYP AI initiatives into existing youth support frameworks and to partner with organisations such as AuratTech and ProAI Global.
