The Government of Punjab, in partnership with Google and Tech Valley, signed a memorandum of understanding at the Higher Education Department in Lahore to launch more than 20,000 scholarships for Google Career Certificates aimed at students in public universities and district colleges across the province for 2025.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Honorable Secretary of the Higher Education Department Ghulam Farid, Additional Secretaries Ms. Zahida, Mr. Aftab and Ms. Mahwish, Project Director Naveed Hassan and Tech Valley CEO Umar Farooq.
Under the collaboration, students will gain access to specialization courses in AI, cybersecurity, digital marketing and project management.
