Rawalpindi Police kite crackdown seizes 1,317 kites and 6 reels, arrests four suppliers and files cases to curb illegal kite activity.

Rawalpindi Police launched a focused kite crackdown, arresting four kite suppliers and recovering 1,317 kites along with 6 reels of kite string during coordinated raids across the district.

Local police units reported separate recoveries: Naseerabad Police detained one person and seized 1,000 kites and 3 reels; Gujarkhan Police held one suspect and recovered 290 kites and 1 reel; City Police arrested two individuals and recovered 27 kites and 2 reels. The kite crackdown targeted suppliers believed to be fueling dangerous kite activity in the area.

Cases were registered against those detained and the suspects were formally arrested. Divisional SPs stressed that kite flying has been declared an unbailable offense and warned that individuals involved in this risky practice will not evade the law. The police action underscores local enforcement efforts to prevent harm and maintain public safety.
