Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan met with federal ministers Hanif Abbasi and Junaid Anwar to unveil the logo for the Regional Transport Conference, reaffirming Islamabad’s role as host for the high-level event. The logo unveiling marked the start of final preparations ahead of the conference.
The Regional Transport Conference will take place on 23 and 24 October at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad, where ministers from 27 countries are expected to participate. The meeting aims to provide a platform for dialogue on regional transport cooperation and policy coordination.
Organisers announced that a cultural show will be arranged for conference participants to showcase Pakistan’s heritage, and an exhibition will be open to the public to engage citizens with developments in transport and infrastructure. The inclusion of a public exhibition reflects an effort to involve local communities in the event hosted in Islamabad.
Officials present at the logo unveiling emphasized readiness to welcome international delegations and underlined the significance of the Regional Transport Conference for regional connectivity discussions. Preparations at the Jinnah Convention Centre are underway to ensure smooth conduct of the sessions, cultural presentations and the public exhibition.
