Fatima Jinnah Women University hosted a Seerah EXPO where students displayed creative models and visual projects depicting key events from the Qur’an and the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The exhibition aimed to deepen students’ understanding of Islamic teachings, encourage reflection, and promote innovative, visually driven approaches to learning.

Held on the FJWU campus, the exhibition featured a range of student-created models, displays and visual representations that highlighted significant Quranic narratives and moments from the Prophetic biography. Presentations were designed to make complex historical and religious themes accessible and engaging for viewers.

Organizers said the initiative sought to combine academic study with creative expression, using multimedia and hands-on projects to reinforce students’ comprehension and reflection. The event was coordinated by Dr. Masooma Batool, whose leadership was credited with bringing together the different displays and facilitating student participation.

Heads of departments, chairpersons and faculty members attended the expo and praised the students’ creativity and effort. Dr. Shahzadi Pakeeza, Chairperson of the Department of Islamic Studies, thanked the organizers and underscored the importance of learning from the Seerah as a means to nurture both spiritual insight and intellectual growth among students.

The exhibition was organized in collaboration with Al Noor International, Islamabad, which supplemented the students’ work with additional models, a selection of Seerah books and demonstrations of Sunnah food items. Organizers said this partnership enriched the event’s educational scope and provided visitors with a broader view of Prophetic traditions.

By combining scholarship and creative presentation, the Seerah EXPO offered students a meaningful platform to express their knowledge and engage the university community with the teachings of the Qur’an and the life of the Prophet. Organizers described the event as a successful step toward more interactive and reflective forms of Islamic education.
