Sialkot surgical firms meet Pakistan High Commission in Nairobi and pursue B2B links at Medic Expo Kenya to boost surgical exports to Kenya.

Mr. Bilal Haider Agha, Chief Executive Officer and owner of Technimen Agha, and Mr. Irfan Alsam, Chief Executive Officer and owner of Longlife Surgical, met with the Pakistan High Commission in Nairobi during their business trip to Kenya to pursue new market opportunities.

The Sialkot surgical delegation held discussions with His Excellency High Commissioner Mr. Ibrar Hussain Khan and Commercial Counsellor Ms. Adeela Younis about expanding exports of surgical instruments and related products to the Kenyan market. Both companies emphasised Pakistan’s manufacturing strengths and their readiness to engage Kenyan buyers.

Technimen Agha and Longlife Surgical are currently exhibiting at Medic Expo Kenya on a self-sponsored basis, using the platform to showcase product quality and to initiate direct dialogues with potential importers and distributors. Participation at the event forms a key part of their strategy to establish footholds in East Africa.

The Pakistan Africa Institute for Trade Development (PAHIC) in Nairobi assisted by facilitating business-to-business linkages with Kenyan importers, complementing the High Commission’s efforts to develop trade ties. Conversations during the visit focused on practical collaboration, regulatory considerations and channels for sustained engagement between Sialkot exporters and Kenyan partners.

The outreach by these Sialkot surgical companies highlights a concerted push to broaden export markets and strengthen Pakistan’s presence in regional healthcare supply chains, reflecting growing trade-focused diplomacy and industry initiative.
