TEVTA Punjab has signed a memorandum of understanding with Alif Recruitment and Manpower Solutions to deliver specialized training in Fire Alarm and Fire Protection Technician skills, opening pathways for students to seek employment abroad, particularly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
A Selection Drive held at the Government College of Technology, Railway Road, Lahore, identified DAE students for an intensive two-month training programme to be conducted under the supervision of Alif Recruitment’s partner organisation. More than 100 students have been shortlisted to receive the training designed to meet international skill standards required for foreign employment.
The opening ceremony at GCT Railway Road, Lahore, was attended by Chairman TEVTA Brig. Muhammad Sajid Khokhar, SI(M), Retd., SDG Akhtar Abbas Bharwana, DG Aamir Aziz, and ADG Muaz Saleem. Chairman TEVTA reiterated that TEVTA Punjab is committed to creating global employment opportunities for its students through quality technical training and international partnerships.
By focusing on certified fire protection and alarm technician skills, TEVTA Punjab aims to strengthen the skilled workforce and improve access to overseas job markets for graduates, while ensuring training aligns with the expectations of employers in KSA and other international destinations.
