Ajay Pal Singh Banga paid a special visit to the historic Gurdwara Guru Sri Singh Sabha in Khushab, where he received a warm civic welcome and was presented traditional shawls by Member Provincial Assembly Malik Muhammad Asif Bhah, who also greeted Mrs. Ajay Pal Singh Banga.
The Khushab Police and district administration implemented strict and comprehensive security measures for the visit, deploying a heavy contingent around the site and maintaining rigorous monitoring at all entry and exit points to ensure a peaceful programme at the Khushab Gurdwara.
During his time at the Gurdwara, Mr. Banga acknowledged the location’s historical and religious importance and underscored the need to promote interfaith harmony, while expressing satisfaction with the security arrangements and local coordination.
District administration under Deputy Commissioner Jehangzeb Labbur oversaw the preparations, with District Police Officer Amara Shirazi ensuring order through an effective security strategy and District Security Officer Shah Khalid contributing significantly to the logistics and safety plan. Rescue 1122 Khushab, Para Force, Traffic Police, Municipal Committee Khushab and other department heads also played active roles in executing the visit professionally.
The visit is seen as a memorable moment for Khushab, highlighting the district’s administrative capability and hospitality. Locally renowned for its natural beauty and heritage, Khushab is also celebrated for famous salt, aromatic oranges and traditional sweets such as Dhodha and Pateesa, and hosting the World Bank President on this ground of opportunity reaffirmed local pride in the Khushab Gurdwara and the wider community.
