UNODC Pakistan, in collaboration with NACTA and the European Union in Pakistan, organized a four-day workshop in Islamabad aimed at equipping young leaders with tools for peacebuilding and community resilience. The event brought together 40 participants from across the country, focusing on the role of storytelling and effective communication in promoting peace.
During the training, the young leaders learned practical communication strategies designed to foster resilience within their communities. They received guidance on psychosocial support methods and explored how storytelling can be used as a powerful tool for healing and empowerment.
The workshop also emphasized the design and implementation of youth-led peace missions, encouraging participants to take active roles in driving positive change. By developing these skills, the youth are poised to become champions of peace, contributing to stronger and more resilient communities throughout Pakistan.
