K2 Squash news: Zeina Zein wins PSA Womens Challenger 6K in Lahore, defeating Lucie Stefanoni to claim the title and prize money.

Top seed Zeina Zein of Egypt claimed the K2 Squash PSA Women’s Challenger 6K crown at K2 Squash Club in Lahore after defeating third seed Lucie Stefanoni of the United States 3–1 in a 34-minute final.

Zein dictated play to secure the win 11–9, 11–7, 8–11, 11–3 and was awarded $1,140 for the title while Stefanoni earned $720 for her runner-up finish following a strong run through the draw.

The event, presented by One World Squash, was the club’s first women’s international championship and its second international tournament overall. The closing ceremony was held in the presence of One World Squash founder Mr. Karamat Ullah Khan and Tournament Director Muhammad Naveed Alam, who distributed trophies to the winner and runner-up.

Mr. Karamat Ullah Khan said, “Our aim is to promote squash in the United States. I would like to thank all sponsors, US Squash, PSA, the PSA media team, and all participating players for their support. I would also like to give special thanks to Tournament Director Muhammad Naveed Alam, who worked extremely hard to make this event a success. We look forward to hosting this tournament again next year with increased prize money.”

Tournament Director Muhammad Naveed Alam added, “We are proud to have successfully delivered our first women’s international championship. The level of competition was excellent, and we are thankful to everyone who contributed to making this event a success.”

The successful staging of the K2 Squash Challenger in Lahore showcased top-level international squash, highlighted the club’s growing role on the international stage, and sets a strong foundation for even bigger tournaments in the future.
