Patrolling Police Rawalpindi regional leadership, led by SP Faisal Saleem and DSP Muhammad Irfan Butt D.O Rawalpindi, organised a targeted welfare initiative at the Thakra Mor patrol post in partnership with Sundus Foundation. The event combined a blood donation drive for children living with thalassemia and a free medical camp for department staff and their families.
Seventy units of blood were collected during the camp to support thalassemia patients, a contribution coordinated with local health partners and volunteers. The blood donation element underscored the Patrolling Police commitment to community health needs in the Rawalpindi region.
The free medical camp provided consultations and basic treatment for employees and their dependents, allowing on-duty personnel to access care alongside their families. Medical teams worked through the day to ensure staff benefited from practical health services without extra cost.
To bolster long-term support for personnel, the Patrolling Police signed a memorandum of understanding with Tajir Welfare Society Hospital represented by CEO Sajad Butt. Under the MOU, all employees and their families will receive a 50 percent discount on hospital services, expanding access to more comprehensive care beyond the camp.
Regional Officer SP Faisal Saleem said employee welfare remains a primary priority and that similar community-oriented initiatives will continue as part of the Patrolling Police efforts to support health and well-being in Rawalpindi.
