The PMDC portal will remain active for candidate registration until April 24, and all eligible students are advised to complete their entries within this window.
PMDC conducts the NEB Exam twice a year to assess knowledge, clinical skills and professional competence of Pakistani students who have partially completed medical or dental education abroad and wish to transfer into Pakistani institutions. The computer-based exam will consist of multiple-choice questions and passing it is required for admission or transfer for the next academic year.
Pakistani students enrolled at foreign medical and dental colleges who have completed two years of study and reached at least the third year meet the eligibility criteria to sit the NEB Exam. The Council specifically noted that students currently studying in Iran may also apply, provided they fulfill the required codal formalities and register on time with PMDC.
PMDC has urged students and parents considering overseas medical or dental admission to weigh safety and long-term academic prospects carefully.
