Celebrate Maarka-e-Haq anniversary in Rawalpindi with a tribute concert, fireworks and national unity as leaders and citizens honor the armed forces.

A large, dignified ceremony at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium marked the first anniversary of the Maarka-e-Haq victory, drawing members of the national and provincial assemblies, political and social figures, civil society, families and many citizens who turned out in strong numbers to pay tribute to the armed forces.

The event opened with a recitation from the Quran and continued with stirring performances by well-known singers Farhan Saeed and Mustafa Zahid, whose renditions of patriotic and popular songs filled the stadium and echoed national sentiment. A spectacular fireworks display later lit the night sky, earning widespread applause from attendees.

Organisers led by the district administration worked with the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi to transform the stadium with elegant lighting, national flags and tasteful decorations that created a welcoming atmosphere. Security, traffic management, parking, sanitation and public amenities were arranged to ensure a safe and orderly environment for all participants.

Among those present were Federal Parliamentary Secretary Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry, Deputy Commissioner Hassan Waqar Cheema, MNA Malik Abrar, MPA Ziaullah Shah, Advocate Raja Muhammad Hanif and MD Horticulture Agency Ahmad Hassan Ranjha, alongside other political, social and business personalities. Barrister Daniyal Chaudhry praised the Maarka-e-Haq victory as an example of national resolve and unity and reaffirmed the public’s support for Pakistan’s armed forces.

Speakers and attendees used the occasion to honour the sacrifices of the military and to express prayers for the country’s security and stability. Throughout the night, participants chanted slogans in support of the Pakistan Army and celebrated national solidarity, with the concert continuing into the late hours as citizens enjoyed the program.

The anniversary event combined cultural tribute and patriotic fervour, offering a memorable platform for families and young people to join public recognition of the armed forces’ service while underscoring themes of unity and national pride central to the Maarka-e-Haq observance.
