The Pakistan High Commission in Nairobi and the Pakistani community living in Kenya marked the first anniversary of Marka e Haq and Bunyanum Marsoos with strong national solidarity and gratitude. Attendees offered thanks and reflected on Pakistan’s growing stature and resilience on the international stage.
Special messages from the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Chief of Army Staff were presented to the gathering by Madam Adeela Younis (Commercial Counsellor),
Mr. Shoaib Mansoor (Head of Chancery) and Colonel Inam Muhammad Khattak. Each message underscored the significance of Marka e Haq for the nation and for overseas Pakistanis.
In a detailed address on Bunyanum Marsoos and Marka e Haq, Colonel Inam Muhammad Khattak paid tribute to the courage, unity and professionalism of Pakistan’s three armed forces. He described how an attempted aggression under cover of darkness was met with a decisive and effective response by the armed forces, actions that demonstrated operational resolve and were witnessed internationally.
The event concluded with a specially produced 15-minute ISPR documentary highlighting the achievements of Pakistan’s armed forces. The film included footage of successful operations and referenced acknowledgments from sections of Indian media regarding incurred losses. The gathering reinforced community support for the armed forces and celebrated the unity shown by Pakistanis in Kenya.
