Enter Shot On CAMON contest 2026 by TECNO and Lonely Planet to capture authentic moments with CAMON 50 Series for cash awards and exclusive travel prizes.

TECNO and Lonely Planet are calling on CAMON users worldwide to capture real life moments under the theme ‘Seeing is Believing’. The co‑hosted Shot On CAMON Contest 2026 runs from May 15 to October 11, 2026, and asks photographers to create authentic images using the CAMON 50 Series that highlight diverse skin tones, fleeting emotions and real‑world observation.

Melissa Killian, Vice President of Integrated Marketing at Lonely Planet, noted that great photographs stem from immersion in a destination rather than gear alone, and added that TECNO’s imaging tools help photographers stay present and capture meaningful moments. Jack Guo, General Manager of TECNO, said the theme ‘Seeing is Believing’ is designed to inspire closer observation and freer expression among smartphone photographers.WhatsApp Image 2026 05 18 at 6.19.48 PM 1

The contest features five creative categories that encourage different approaches to mobile storytelling. Faces·Unfiltered celebrates honest portraits and skin tone diversity; Night·Unveiled focuses on atmosphere and emotion after dark; Culture·Unscripted captures the natural rhythm of places and everyday interactions; Snapshot·Unspotted is a telephoto special that rewards distant details and unexpected intimacy; and AI·Unimagined asks entrants to begin with a real photo and then transform it using TECNO’s AI Gallery, submitting both the original and the AI‑styled image together.

Organisers emphasise that the AI category must start with an authentic photograph taken on a TECNO phone so creative AI work extends rather than replaces real observation. Three Lonely Planet photographers will contribute original imagery made with the CAMON 50 Series, and one Lonely Planet photographer will join TECNO’s imaging team on the final‑round jury.

Shot On CAMON Contest 2026 offers significant cash and travel prizes. The TECNO Photography Master will receive $8,000. Five Gold winners will each receive $3,000, five Silver winners $2,000 each, and five Bronze winners $1,000 each. Ten participants will be named TECNO Friends and receive a CAMON 50 Series smartphone. The TECNO Photography Master and the five Gold Prize winners will also be invited to a bespoke trip to the Philippines.

To enter, post photos with a visible TECNO device watermark on Instagram using the hashtags #ShotOnCAMON2026 and #TECNOCAMON50Series, then submit high‑resolution versions by email to shotoncamon@tecnomobile.com or via the ShotOnCAMON Gallery on TECNO’s global website. All entries must be original and duplicate submissions will be disqualified. Winning works will be exhibited in global media exhibitions, featured in TECNO’s annual photo book and shared across the brand’s official platforms.

Photographers in Pakistan and beyond are encouraged to participate and follow @tecnomobilepakistan on Instagram for regional updates and contest information. The Shot On CAMON initiative aims to celebrate real life, inspire visual storytelling and connect smartphone photographers with global opportunities.
