Special lighting has been installed across Rawal Park, transforming the area into a vibrant and safer evening destination. The new Rawal Park lighting highlights entrances, walking tracks and green lawns, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors after dusk and significantly enhancing the park’s nighttime appeal.
Under the direction of Managing Director of the Rawalpindi Horticulture Agency, Ahmed Hassan Ranjha, a modern and high-quality lighting system was deployed throughout the park to ensure a secure and pleasant recreational experience during evening hours. The upgraded fixtures and layout improve visibility along pathways and key recreational zones while preserving the park’s aesthetic charm.
Alongside the lighting upgrade, agency teams are stepping up cleanliness, horticulture and security operations to offer families, seniors and young people a healthy and enjoyable outdoor environment. Citizens have welcomed the Rawal Park lighting and associated improvements, noting the park’s captivating night view and the increased sense of safety for evening visits.
The Rawalpindi Horticulture Agency has also indicated that similar enhancement projects are underway for other parks and green belts across the city, reinforcing the vision of a greener, more accessible and public-friendly Rawalpindi where well-lit and well-maintained open spaces encourage healthy recreation for all residents.
