On June 21, 2026, the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, took serious notice of the sealing of NFC Faisalabad and called for urgent action to restore normal operations.
The minister has instructed the concerned Secretary and Additional Secretary to submit a detailed explanation regarding the circumstances that led to the sealing, with a deadline set for Monday. He stressed that the explanation should clarify procedural steps taken and any administrative grounds cited.
Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has directed relevant authorities to take immediate measures for the desealing of NFC Faisalabad and to resolve the matter at the earliest possible opportunity. The minister underlined the need for all actions to follow established procedures while avoiding unnecessary disruption to the institution’s functions.
The Federal Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring the smooth functioning of public sector institutions and emphasised that administrative or procedural issues affecting national organisations like NFC Faisalabad must be handled swiftly and effectively to protect service continuity and public interest.
