Punjab Health and Population Minister Khawaja Imran Nazeer and Health Secretary Nadia Saqib handed over the keys of modern monitoring vehicles to CEOs of all districts in Punjab for integrated service delivery monitoring.
The 36 vehicles will be used to ensure effective monitoring of the field activities of community health inspectors, vaccinators, school health and nutrition staff, lady health visitors and lady health supervisors. The move is aimed at making health and population programme service delivery more transparent, effective and accountable.
Khawaja Imran Nazeer said, “For us, every city is equal, and providing quality health facilities in every district is our top priority.”
The Punjab Health and Population Department said it remains committed to delivering better, timely and quality health services to the public through a modern monitoring system.
