ISLAMABAD: A grand religious gathering, Mehfil-e-Milad-e-Mustafa (PBUH), was held at the auditorium of the National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad, on Thursday.
Prominent Islamic scholars, renowned Naat reciters, NIH administration, officers and a large number of employees attended the blessed ceremony to express their devotion and respect for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The event was organised under the patronage and guidance of Dr Muhammad Salman, Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute of Health, in collaboration with the organisers of the Milad Committee.
Keynote speaker Hazrat Allama Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Akbar, in his address, highlighted in detail the eternal teachings of tolerance, peace, compassion and moral excellence from the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Joint Executive Director Mazhar Nisar and main organiser, Chief Nutrition Division Dr Muhammad Tanveer, jointly thanked the distinguished guests, scholars, Naat reciters and organisers for making the event successful.
Special prayers were also offered for national peace, progress, prosperity and unity.
