Finance Minister Condemns Attack on FBR Enforcement Personnel in D.I. Khan

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb condemned the firing incident at Qureshi Mor, Bypass Road, D.I. Khan.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb on Tuesday strongly condemned the firing incident at Qureshi Mor, Bypass Road, D.I. Khan, which resulted in the martyrdom of two personnel of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Enforcement Squad.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance and Revenue on October 6, 2026, the minister paid tribute to Arm Guard Rahmatullah and Sepoy Sulaiman, who lost their lives in the line of duty.

Senator Aurangzeb extended profound condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace.

“The tragic incident is a matter of deep grief for the entire FBR fraternity. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the martyred officials,” the minister said.

The finance minister directed that all relevant aspects of the incident be pursued in coordination with the concerned authorities. He expressed the hope that the perpetrators would be identified and brought to justice.

He also reaffirmed the government’s support for FBR personnel engaged in enforcement duties and acknowledged their continued commitment to carrying out their responsibilities under challenging circumstances.
