RAWALPINDI: President of the All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association, North Punjab and Islamabad, Abrar Ahmad Khan, has said that private educational institutions form a strong foundation of the national education system and are playing a key role in promoting quality education.
In a statement issued on October 8, 2026, Abrar Ahmad Khan said education was the foundation of a nation’s progress, prosperity and bright future. He said private educational institutions were contributing significantly to the country’s education system by providing quality education and modern facilities to millions of students.
He said strengthening the educational services of the private sector could help equip the younger generation with the skills required to meet modern-day challenges.
Abrar Ahmad Khan said private educational institutions were not limited to academic education alone, but were also making effective efforts for character building, moral training, development of creative abilities and awareness of modern technology among students.
He stressed the need for an education system that not only awarded degrees but also prepared students to successfully face the challenges of practical life.
He said teachers were the backbone of any education system and, therefore, special attention must be given to teacher training, professional development and the provision of a conducive educational environment.
Abrar Ahmad Khan said encouraging private educational institutions and resolving their genuine issues could further improve the education sector.
He emphasised that strong and effective coordination between the government and private educational institutions was the need of the hour. Through joint efforts, he said, the quality of education could be improved, more children could be provided access to education and the country’s literacy rate could be enhanced.
Abrar Ahmad Khan further said Pakistan’s future was linked with today’s students, and providing them with quality education, modern knowledge and effective training was a collective responsibility.
He reaffirmed that private educational institutions would continue to play their positive and constructive role in the country’s journey towards national development.
