Pakistan Senate Engagements Highlight Youth and Diplomacy

**Deputy Chairman Senate Holds Key Meetings with Newly Elected Senator, Foreign Secretary, Chess Federation, and Youth Parliament Members**

The Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Syedal Khan, held a series of important meetings at the Parliament House with recently elected Senator Hafiz Abdul Kareem, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, representatives and players from the Pakistan Chess Federation, members of the Youth Parliament, and individuals from various walks of life. The discussions spanned topics of legislative progress, foreign policy achievements, youth empowerment, and the promotion of creative activities among the nation’s youth.

During his meeting with Hafiz Abdul Kareem, the Deputy Chairman congratulated him on taking oath as a Senator. He commended Kareem’s extensive political and social experience, expressing confidence that his presence in the Upper House would significantly contribute to legislative processes and enrich parliamentary debates. The Deputy Chairman specifically praised Senator Abdul Kareem’s leadership qualities.

In a separate meeting with Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, the Deputy Chairman lauded the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its exemplary performance in the realm of diplomacy. He emphasized the clarity of Pakistan’s foreign policy, which is centered on fostering relations with all countries based on mutual respect, peace, and development. He noted the pivotal role played by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in securing Pakistan’s leadership on international platforms and also commended the guidance of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

The Deputy Chairman also met with representatives of the Pakistan Chess Federation and appreciated their efforts in promoting and developing the game of chess in the country. He highlighted the importance of engaging the youth in creative activities as a means to combat challenges such as terrorism and extremism.

Furthermore, in his meeting with members of the Youth Parliament, the Deputy Chairman emphasized the critical role that young people must play in addressing Pakistan’s current challenges. He reiterated the government’s commitment to creating opportunities for the youth to foster national progress and prosperity. He also acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team in implementing initiatives aimed at empowering young people across the nation.
