The Pakistan National Council of the Arts inaugurated the exhibition Azm-e-Marsoos on Wednesday 6 May 2026 at the National Art Gallery in Islamabad. The event was formally opened by Lt. Gen. (R) Humayun Bangash, accompanied by Federal Minister Aurangzeb Khan Khichi and M. Ayoub Jamali, Director General PNCA, with a strong turnout of artists, students and guests from across the country.

Azm-e-Marsoos brings together young creators who reflect on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, translating themes of courage, sacrifice and unity into paintings and mixed media. Participating artists reinterpret the meaning of Marka-e-Haq for a new generation, using visual language to express the enduring bond between citizens and those who defend the nation. The works emphasize cultural continuity, showing how national resolve and military service are reframed through artistic creativity.

Commenting on the exhibition, Lt. Gen. (R) Humayun Bangash said, “Today, I have witnessed not just art, but the voice of a proud and determined generation. These young artists have expressed through color and form what words often cannot—their profound love for Pakistan and deep respect for the Armed Forces who safeguard our freedom. The creativity, discipline, and passion on display reaffirm that the future of our cultural heritage is in capable hands. I commend PNCA for providing such a meaningful platform and congratulate all participants for their inspiring work.”

Federal Minister Aurangzeb Khan Khichi praised the enthusiastic participation of youth and expressed hope for continued engagement in future cultural initiatives, while M. Ayoub Jamali acknowledged the depth of submissions and the national response. The exhibition has drawn an overwhelming reaction from young artists nationwide, with pieces that read as heartfelt tributes to Pakistan and its defenders.

The Azm-e-Marsoos exhibition will remain open to the public until 14 May 2026, giving visitors an opportunity to experience contemporary responses to Marka-e-Haq through art. Visitors should note the galleries are closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
