FC North Honors Martyrs with Military Awards

Frontier Corps North presented 123 military awards in Peshawar to martyrs' families and officers, honoring bravery and sacrifice.

A solemn ceremony at the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar saw Frontier Corps North confer military awards on the families of martyrs and serving officers in recognition of their bravery and sacrifice. The event was held to acknowledge the dedication of those who laid down their lives and the service of personnel who continue to protect the country.

Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, Inspector General of Frontier Corps North, attended as the chief guest and personally presented the awards. He paid rich tribute to the martyrs and ghazis, underlining that their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and in defence of the homeland remain unforgettable and form a core part of the nation’s pride.

A total of 123 military awards were distributed during the ceremony. Of these, 98 families of martyrs received the Tamgha-e-Basalat. In recognition of distinguished service, six officers were decorated with the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), while 19 officers were presented with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military).

The presentation of these military awards in Peshawar reinforces the continuing commitment of Frontier Corps North to honour the sacrifices of security forces and to stand with bereaved families. The ceremony reflected the respect and gratitude of both command and community for those who have served the nation with courage.
