The president of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry attended an Islamabad Police event held under the banner of Maarka Haq and openly paid tribute to the courage and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces. The FPCCI tribute underlined the business community’s solidarity with the country’s defenders and the families of martyrs.

Senior police officials present at the event included IG Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq and SSP Usman Tariq, along with a large contingent of officers and rank‑and‑file personnel such as Sarfaraz Work. Business leaders accompanied the FPCCI president, including Chairman Coordination Malik Sohail Hussain and other representatives of the private sector who stood alongside law enforcement in paying respects.

Atif Ikram Sheikh emphasized that the entire business community stands shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s brave forces. He said the nation honors those who became a steel wall for the country, saluting both the martyrs and the valiant soldiers who defended the homeland with unwavering resolve.

Commenting on operational performance, the FPCCI tribute highlighted the coordinated and disciplined response across land, sea, air and cyber domains that, in Sheikh’s words, established Pakistan as an indomitable force. He described Maarka Haq as clear evidence that Pakistanis are peace‑loving yet courageous, dignified and steadfast when called upon to defend the nation.

The president also offered specific praise for the military leadership, paying tribute to the Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his decisive leadership and commending Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar and Admiral Naveed Ashraf for their strategic direction. He noted that the Pakistan Navy also performed admirably by maintaining vigilant defence of the nation’s maritime frontiers.
