ISLAMABAD: The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) celebrated Pakistan’s 79th Independence Day with national spirit and enthusiasm at the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad.
The ceremony was organised by IBCC to mark the occasion with renewed commitment to national unity, patriotism and service to the country.
IBCC Executive Director Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah cut the Independence Day cake during the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, he said protecting the motherland and safeguarding its sovereignty was the collective responsibility of every Pakistani.
Dr Mallah said the nation must remain united and be prepared to stand as a strong shield against any threat or aggression against the country.
Addressing students, the IBCC executive director urged them to continue striving for excellence through hard work, discipline, dedication and determination. He said Pakistan’s future depended on an educated, skilled and responsible youth.
He also highlighted the importance of skills-based education, stressing that equipping students with market-oriented and practical skills was essential to enhancing employability, promoting innovation and strengthening the national economy.
Dr Mallah called upon students to play their role in Pakistan’s development and prosperity by making education, skills and hard work the foundation of their future.
The ceremony concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold the spirit of independence, national unity and service to the country.
