NIC Peshawar brought together investors, business leaders and startup ecosystem stakeholders in June 2026 through Invest Lab 3.0 and the KP Investor Summit 2026, strengthening the startup investment landscape in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The three-day Invest Lab 3.0 served as an investor education program led by national and international experts, offering practical insights into startup investing, due diligence, risk assessment, portfolio strategies and investment decision-making. The sessions were designed to help investors better understand the dynamics of emerging ventures and the opportunities available in the local market.
Mr. Asim Ishaq Khan, Project Director NIC Peshawar, said a strong startup ecosystem depends not only on founders with ambitious ideas but also on investors who understand the realities of startup growth. He noted that Invest Lab is helping build local investment capacity while creating stronger pathways for startups to access support, networks and resources.
Building on that momentum, the KP Investor Summit 2026 created a platform for networking, collaboration and investment engagement between startups and investors. The event also brought together representatives from Ignite, The Asia Foundation, KPEZDMC, SAIF Group, Jazz, Climaventures, Seedrise Fund, KP Startup Fund, Pakistan Startup Fund, Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Evamp & Saanga, KP Board of Investment and Trade and other ecosystem partners.
A major attraction at the summit was the startup showcase, where seven ventures from education technology, sustainability and defense technology presented their solutions and growth plans to investors and industry leaders. The presentations highlighted the depth of entrepreneurial activity emerging from the province and the growing interest in high-potential ideas.
The event concluded with remarks by Mr. Muzaffar Uddin of The Asia Foundation, who underscored the need for continued cooperation among investors, founders and ecosystem partners to unlock the region’s entrepreneurial potential. Through initiatives such as Invest Lab 3.0 and the KP Investor Summit 2026, NIC Peshawar continues to strengthen investor engagement, mobilize capital and support innovative startups across the region.
