Pakistan Algeria ties strengthened as foreign ministers met in Antalya; Algeria received an invitation for an official visit to Islamabad and praised Pakistan mediation.

On the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Ahmed Attaf, Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for National Community Abroad and African Affairs, held bilateral talks with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.

The meeting focused on deepening cooperation and explored practical steps to elevate Pakistan Algeria ties across political and diplomatic channels. During discussions Mr. Attaf accepted an invitation from his Pakistani counterpart to pay an official visit to Islamabad, a move expected to advance bilateral engagement and coordination on shared priorities.

Both ministers reviewed developments in the Middle East and the Arabian Gulf region, with Mr. Attaf commending Pakistan’s mediation efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire between the parties involved. The two sides expressed hope that these active good offices will help produce lasting solutions to regional disputes and contribute to durable security and stability.

Participants underlined the importance of continued dialogue and follow-up at ministerial and technical levels to translate the Antalya discussions into concrete cooperation, reinforcing Pakistan Algeria ties and opening avenues for future collaboration.
