The Embassy of Pakistan in Hungary joined ELTE University’s Cultural Connection Day 2026, presenting Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and renowned hospitality to the campus community.
Visitors enjoyed an array of traditional Pakistani snacks alongside the beloved doodh patti, which quickly became a favourite among students and staff. The embassy’s stall highlighted familiar flavours and warm service that resonated with the diverse university audience.
On the occasion, Ambassador Asif Hussain Memon held a meeting with the Vice Rector of ELTE University and spent time interacting with Pakistani students currently studying at the university, reaffirming support for the student community and the ties between institutions.
Participation in the Cultural Connection Day offered a grassroots platform for cultural exchange, allowing Pakistani students and Hungarian hosts alike to connect over shared tastes and conversations about heritage and student life.
