Ambassador Bilal Hayee visited the Skåne Region in Sweden and met Annika Annerby Jansson, President of the Regional Assembly of Region Skåne, and Carina Nilsson, President of the Malmö City Council, along with senior officials from Invest in Skåne.
The discussions focused on opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Southern Sweden in trade, investment, innovation and sustainability.
The Ambassador also visited Ideon Science Park, where he met representatives of innovative startups and technology companies. The visit highlighted Pakistan’s growing IT sector and digital workforce, while also exploring possible partnerships, technology exchange and collaboration between Swedish innovators and Pakistani IT companies.
