Pakistan's mediation secures Iran US deal and advances regional stability; learn how Pakistan's leadership helped achieve the ceasefire and ease energy pressures.

Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry has welcomed the Iran US deal as a triumph for diplomacy that can bring tangible stability to a tense region. Speaking from Rawalpindi, he described the agreement as proof that dialogue, not confrontation, is the way forward and credited the consensus-building role played by Pakistan’s national leadership.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi were singled out for their strategic and diplomatic efforts that supported mediation efforts. Barrister Danyal said the success reflects the trust both Iranian and American leadership have placed in Pakistan’s balanced foreign policy.

The ceasefire and ensuing Iran US deal are expected to stabilise the immediate conflict zone and help ease economic pressure on developing countries by improving global energy supply chains. The agreement, anticipated to be formally observed on June 19, offers a platform for rebuilding confidence and encouraging longer term development across the region.

Barrister Danyal reaffirmed Pakistan’s readiness to back follow-up initiatives that build on this progress and thanked friendly partners including Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Egypt and the UAE for urging restraint. He said the outcome sends a clear message that Pakistan can act as a constructive force for stability, unity and hope in the region.
