Pakistan Target Ball Federation seeks PSB affiliation to boost Target Ball development, expand participation and support young athletes.

A delegation of the Pakistan Target Ball Federation met senior officials of the Pakistan Sports Board in Islamabad to discuss the federation’s affiliation process and the wider promotion of Target Ball across the country.WhatsApp Image 2026 06 23 at 12.22.48 AM 1

The meeting included Pakistan Sports Board Director General Yawer Hussain, Deputy Director General Facilities Shahid Islam, and Director and Coordinator Shabana Khattak. The federation was represented by President Arif Mehmood and Secretary General Muhammad Nizam-ul-Haq, while provincial representatives from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Abdul Hafiz Qureshi, Haroon Khan and Ijaz Ullah Khan, were also present.

During the discussion, the PTBF team briefed PSB officials on the structure, progress and activities of Target Ball in Pakistan. They highlighted the sport’s growing popularity and shared details about efforts to organize competitions, identify fresh talent and encourage participation at the grassroots level.

The delegation also requested the Pakistan Sports Board to facilitate the affiliation process of the federation. PSB officials appreciated the federation’s efforts to promote sports and said the relevant procedures would be reviewed in line with board rules and regulations. Both sides expressed a shared commitment to supporting sports development in Pakistan and expanding healthy competitive opportunities for young players.
