Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS AAUR) successfully administered its first undergraduate Entry Test for Fall 2026 on June 14, 2026, drawing thousands of applicants from across the country. The large turnout underlined growing interest in the university’s programs and its expanding reputation in Pakistan’s higher education landscape.
The entry test took place at the university’s Main Campus in Rawalpindi and was simultaneously held in 14 additional cities to ease access for candidates. Test centres included Attock, Khushab, Chakwal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Burewala, Multan, Rajanpur, Bhalwal, Skardu and Gilgit, enabling students to appear nearer to their hometowns and avoid long-distance travel.
University leadership, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qamar-uz-Zaman, together with the Registrar and other senior officials, visited examination halls to review arrangements and observe the conduct of the test. Their interactions with candidates highlighted the institution’s focus on transparency and efficient management, and the vice chancellor reiterated PMAS AAUR’s commitment to quality teaching, experienced faculty and improved academic facilities.
PMAS AAUR also facilitated on-the-spot registration on the day of the test for applicants who were unable to complete online registration before the June 12, 2026 deadline. Authorities confirmed that candidates who registered for the first entry test but could not sit the exam will automatically remain eligible for the second Entry Test without re-registration.
The second undergraduate Entry Test for Fall 2026 admissions is scheduled for July 12, 2026, with the registration deadline on July 10, 2026. Prospective students are encouraged to check the university’s admissions portal for any further instructions and to plan their applications accordingly.
