Riyadh Air says Sfeer is expected to reach one million members this month.

Karachi, August 21, 2026: Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier and a PIF company, has announced that its Sfeer Lifestyle Membership is expected to reach one million members this month, less than a year after its launch.

The airline said the milestone reflects strong momentum for Sfeer, a membership programme designed to combine travel, lifestyle benefits, experiences and partnerships.

To mark the expected milestone, the one millionth person to join Sfeer will receive one million Sfeer Points and will become the programme’s final Founding Member. Riyadh Air said two existing Founding Members will also be selected at random and awarded 250,000 Sfeer Points each. The total giveaway will amount to 1.5 million Sfeer Points.

According to the airline, one million Sfeer Points could unlock more than 120 one-way redemption flights in Economy across Riyadh Air’s expanding network once redemption becomes available. The feature is currently expected later in 2026, subject to network rollout and availability.

Riyadh Air said the points could also be used by a family of five for two Economy round trips every year for four years, or by five people for approximately three Business Class round trips together. Actual redemption options and value will vary depending on destinations, availability and applicable redemption requirements.

Sfeer, described by the airline as “Born in Saudi, Built for the World”, is powered by Riyadh Air and aims to extend the airline’s experience beyond travel. It brings together travel, lifestyle, benefits, experiences and partnerships within a community based on sharing, connection and Saudi generosity.

The airline said members currently benefit from Sfeer Points that have no fixed expiry date under the Sfeer Terms and Conditions, complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi, ‘Best Offer Guaranteed’, and partner benefits and experiences. Current partners include Hilton, Uber and muvi Cinemas, with more partnerships and benefits being introduced.

Kim Hardaker, Vice President Loyalty and Sustainability at Riyadh Air, said reaching one million Sfeer members was a remarkable milestone in the journey being built with the community.

“Sfeer was created to be more than a traditional loyalty program, bringing together travel, experiences, benefits and partnerships in a way that reflects the generosity and ambition of Saudi Arabia,” she said.

She said awarding one million Sfeer Points to the millionth member and final Founding Member was a way to celebrate the community that had helped bring Sfeer to life. She added that two members who had been part of the programme from the start would be randomly selected to receive 250,000 Sfeer Points each.

“This is only the beginning, as our community continues to grow, so will the experiences and possibilities that Sfeer can offer,” Hardaker said.

Riyadh Air said the name Sfeer carries meaning in both Arabic and English. In Arabic, it evokes an ambassador, representing generosity, hospitality and connection. In English, it echoes “sphere”, described as a world in motion where community meets possibility.

As Sfeer approaches one million members, Riyadh Air said the programme is preparing for its next phase of growth, including more ways for members to connect, share and engage. When the feature becomes available, members will be able to share Sfeer Points with friends and family. New challenges and community-focused features are also planned.

The airline said members will soon be able to progress with Level Points, reflecting their journey with Sfeer and bringing them closer to new benefits, recognition and experiences.

Riyadh Air said the Sfeer loyalty programme, including earning, redemption, validity, sharing and member benefits, is governed by Sfeer Terms and Conditions. The one-million-member campaign, including eligibility, winner selection and the award of Sfeer Points, is also subject to separate campaign terms and conditions.
