Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Dr. Asima Rabbani, called on Secretary of TESDA Mr. Jose Francisco Kiko Benitez on 11 June 2026 for discussions aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in key practical sectors.

The meeting placed particular emphasis on nursing cooperation, reflecting the shared interest in building stronger professional and training linkages in the healthcare field. The two sides also reviewed opportunities for collaboration in halal certification, digitalisation, and agriculture and livestock, areas that hold growing relevance for both countries.

The discussions underscored a broad-based approach to engagement, with both sides looking at ways to support skills development and sectoral partnerships. The conversation with TESDA highlighted the potential for deeper cooperation that can benefit workforce training and technical exchange between Pakistan and the Philippines.
