LAHORE: TECNO has confirmed that POVA is returning to Pakistan after more than two years, with the upcoming POVA Curve 2 5G being introduced as a “Beauty and a Beast” in one phone.
According to the company, the comeback follows sustained demand from users on TECNO Pakistan’s social media channels, including comments under launch posts, direct messages and fan communities. For the past two years, the recurring question from users had been when POVA would return to the Pakistani market.
TECNO said its social listening showed that people who had owned a POVA device continued to discuss it, while those who had missed it wanted another opportunity to buy one. The company said the demand did not fade, prompting it to bring the lineup back to Pakistan.
The POVA Curve 2 5G is being positioned as an all-rounder and a complete package. TECNO has described the phone as combining design and durability, with neither aspect compromising the other.
On the design side, the handset will feature curved glass that flows into a slim body, along with colours selected to stand out. However, TECNO has not yet disclosed how slim the device will be or which colours will be offered.
The company has also highlighted durability as a key part of the device, saying the phone is being built for daily conditions in Pakistan, including dust, rain, heat, crowded commutes and accidental drops. The POVA Curve 2 5G will offer all-round environmental protection and drop protection, though TECNO has not shared specific protection ratings or further details.
TECNO has not revealed the internal specifications, price or launch date of the POVA Curve 2 5G. The company said more details would be announced soon.
POVA had previously developed a following in Pakistan by exceeding user expectations, and TECNO says the upcoming return is aimed at continuing that tradition. For now, the company has confirmed only that the wait for POVA fans in Pakistan is close to ending.
