RAWALPINDI: Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi Prof Dr Iqbal Mahmood has felicitated the nation, teachers and students on the blessed occasion of 12 Rabiul Awwal, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), saying the birth of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) is a great blessing of Allah Almighty and a message of mercy for the entire humanity.
In a special message issued on August 26, 2026, Prof Dr Iqbal Mahmood said the Seerat-e-Tayyaba (PBUH) is the best example for Muslims in every sphere of life.
He said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) gave practical lessons of love, brotherhood, justice, tolerance, honesty and kindness towards humanity. He added that the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) should not be confined to devotion alone, but must be made part of practical life.
The BISE Rawalpindi chairman said guidance from the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is essential for character-building of the young generation. He said it is an important responsibility to equip students with education as well as high morals, discipline, honesty and a sense of responsibility.
Prof Dr Iqbal Mahmood prayed that Allah Almighty may grant everyone the ability to follow the Seerat-e-Tayyaba (PBUH) with sincerity, and bless Pakistan with peace, progress, prosperity and stability.
