Chief organizer Hassan Mir urges authorities to hold Non Teaching Elections immediately to resolve staff grievances and rebuild trust in the association.

Hassan Mir, chief organizer of the Non Teaching Staff Association, has urged senior authorities to order immediate and regular Non Teaching Elections to address long-standing employee grievances and administrative concerns. He warned that without a democratically elected leadership, gaps between staff and management will continue to widen.

Mir recalled that the association’s constitution requires elections every two years, and expressed deep regret that the electoral process has been stalled since 2018. He said this failure to follow established rules undermines the association’s ability to represent employees effectively and weakens institutional accountability.

According to Mir, the absence of fresh leadership has prevented genuine representatives from emerging, leaving ordinary employees without an effective channel to raise issues. He argued that properly conducted Non Teaching Elections would produce a representative body capable of bridging communication with higher officials, clarifying misunderstandings, and restoring mutual confidence.

In his appeal to the powers that be, Mir stressed the urgent need for timely elections and pledged that any sincere leadership elected through a fair process will work to eliminate injustices, protect staff rights at every forum, and pursue long-overdue administrative remedies on behalf of non-teaching employees.
