Pakistan and Azerbaijan have officially signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and fostering youth development. The agreement seeks to enhance regional collaboration through targeted youth initiatives, intercultural exchanges, and joint efforts to align mutual goals and strengthen bilateral ties.
Representing the Government of Pakistan and the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) was Miss Syeda Amnah Batool, Member of the National Assembly and Focal Person for PMYP’s Green Youth Movement and International Linkages. Miss Batool signed the agreement on behalf of PMYP, acting as the designated representative in place of Chairman Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan.
The signing ceremony was held formally in Aghdam, Republic of Azerbaijan, with senior officials and representatives from both countries attending to demonstrate their commitment. This strategic partnership reflects the two nations’ shared vision for regional development, and outlines pathways to enhanced youth cooperation and greater intercultural understanding.
Both parties aim to leverage the MoU to strengthen collaborative programs targeted at youth empowerment, with a clear focus on facilitating cultural exchange, improving capacity-building initiatives, and encouraging participation in youth-centered projects.
