Pearson Education held its annual awards ceremony in Lahore to recognise education consultants from across Pakistan who secured the highest number of PTE Academic test bookings, highlighting their role in expanding access to international study and migration opportunities.
The event was attended by senior Pearson leaders and education sector figures, with Ms Ipek Aydin, Director PTE for the Middle East, Pakistan, Turkey and Africa, and Waqar Shah, Deputy General Manager, Pearson Pakistan, addressing partners alongside Syed Ali Iqbal and Amir Sohail, both Territory Managers for PTE. Respected educationists and industry professionals from the country also joined the ceremony to celebrate partner achievements.
PTE Academic, Pearson Education’s computer-based English language proficiency test, continues to be a preferred choice for students and professionals pursuing academic and migration paths. The recent introduction of PTE Express was highlighted as a key development that further broadens access for candidates targeting study in the United States by offering a faster, more efficient testing option.
During the ceremony Ms Ipek Aydin and Waqar Shah thanked the top-performing partners for their dedication and resilience, praising their contribution to helping thousands of test takers realise academic and professional goals. They also reiterated Pearson Education’s commitment to strengthening its partner network and widening pathways to global education for Pakistani learners.
Pearson Education honoured twenty-eight high achievers and four leading partners recognised across Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze levels, with Platinum awarded to Opal Institute, Gold to PTE Pakistan Training Institute, Silver to Edward Pride Overseas and Bronze to EduPride Consulting. Awardees represented cities including Bhalwal, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Islamabad, Jaranwala, Karachi, Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, Multan, Peshawar, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sialkot, Swat and Wazirabad.
