Rakhshanda Tasneem urged parents and teachers to make Durood Sharif part of the daily routine of the new generation.

ISLAMABAD (Special Correspondent): Deputy Chief Organiser Pakistan Movement Rakhshanda Tasneem has said that the advent of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), Hadi-e-Kul Alam, changed the fate of Arab society and transformed a society steeped in ignorance into a flourishing one.

Speaking at a sitting held in connection with Rabiul Awwal, she said that after the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), a nation surrounded by misguidance and darkness went on to guide the world.

Rakhshanda Tasneem said the blessed month marking the arrival of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had created a spiritual and emotional atmosphere in society. She said the sounds of 12-day Jashn-e-Milad celebrations were being raised in cities, through which devotees were filling their hearts and souls with the treasures of nearness to Allah and His Messenger (PBUH).

She said the solution to all problems lay in following the Uswa-e-Hasana of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). She urged parents and teachers to keep the lamp of love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) lit in the hearts of the new generation.

“Our major misfortune and suffering is due to distance from Islam and the Messenger of Islam (PBUH),” she said, adding that if Nizam-e-Mustafa was implemented in individual and collective life, more than half of the problems would end automatically.

Rakhshanda Tasneem appealed to teachers, parents and intellectuals to make the recitation of Durood Sharif an essential part of the routine of young people. She said this pure practice could open the doors of goodness, welfare, prosperity and success.

Quoting the Holy Prophet (PBUH), she said: “When your grief increases and you want to end that grief, recite Durood upon me; it will not only remove your grief but will also lead to the forgiveness of your sins.”

She also quoted the saying that whoever hears one Hadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and conveys it to others, the Prophet’s (PBUH) intercession will become obligatory for him on the Day of Judgment.
