Koi Achi Khabar arrives as a contemplative new single from the global music platform Humnava, marking the seventh release in Season 1. Recorded at Offto Resort in Karimabad, Hunza, the track sits in the quiet space between life’s noise and the inward questions we carry, offering a sonic portrait of longing, resilience and restrained hope.

The song brings together local expression and contemporary arrangement. The lyrics were written by Imran Ullah Hunzai (Ramz) and the composition is by Faheem Uddin Hunzai. Arrangement and production were guided by Xulfi and Sherry Khattak, with Xulfi handling production and mixing to shape the record’s intimate sound.

The recording features vocals by Faheem Uddin Hunzai, with Sherry Khattak on electric guitar and backing vocals, Melvin Arthur on acoustic guitars and backing vocals, Muhammad Hunaid on xghini, Dorian Jonas Goetsch on synth and bass, Veeru Shan on tabla and Adnan Karim on drums. Curated by Xulfi and Sherry Khattak, the arrangement allows the poem-like lyrics to unfold over a reflective musical landscape.

The music video, directed by Aamir Mughal, was filmed in the Hunza valley and features associate directors Ghous Hussain and Shahzaib Qureshi, second unit cinematography by Mir Tayyab Khan and consulting editorial direction from Xulfi. Post production work was completed by Mehroz Raza with grading by Leonardo Mareso, while production design and art direction were led by Aqeel ur Rehman. Styling and wardrobe were managed by Wajeeha Badar, Mahila Akhtar and Sabir Amin, with hair and grooming by Trio Salon, reinforcing a visual world that mirrors the song’s intimate emotion.

As part of Humnava’s Season 1 arc, Koi Achi Khabar follows previous releases such as Hairan Amanam, Noor-e-Nazar, Qataghani, Holoyor, Sway and Lost in Love, continuing the platform’s mission to connect artists, cultures and places through collaborative music rooted in shared human experience. The track highlights Humnava’s focus on music that remains rooted in Pakistan while speaking to universal feelings.

Reflecting on the single, co-founder and creative director Xulfi said, “This song feels like a voice for the thoughts we rarely manage to speak out loud,” noting how solitude reveals questions and honesty that everyday conversation often leaves unsaid. The poetry by Imran Hunzai, he added, reaches into emotional places listeners may not have found words for themselves.

Koi Achi Khabar is now part of Humnava’s Season 1 lineup and available through the platform, offering listeners a moment of introspection framed by the scenic backdrop of Hunza and a collaborative musical vision rooted in Pakistan.
